I grew up in the reform movement as my family were members of, what was then, South West Essex Reform Synagogue. I joined Sinai in my own right in 2007 with a determination to be involved in whatever capacity I could. I have served on the board as Vice-Chair, Honorary Secretary and now as board member with responsibility for Social Action. Social action, in its many facets is my way of expressing my Judaism. I appreciate the opportunity to use my role as board member to work with the wider membership in social action projects as well as putting into practice the projects closest to my heart.
