Following a successful bid for funding, we are delighted to announce that we have appointed Becky Teiger to the role of Sinai Community Outreach consultant. Becky has stepped down from her role as Vice Chair in order to take up this position.
The role is funded through a time-bound National Lottery grant to help us respond to challenges facing our community as a result of the C-19 pandemic, bolstering voluntary capacity within the community and helping to equip volunteers with the skills and confidence to contribute to meaningful community-based activities and projects.
Becky sees her role as:
- developing a series of training sessions to upskill and empower volunteers
- providing a wider range of pathways into volunteering and supporting community outreach, making it easier for more people to contribute to building community
- enabling more people to feel even more connected to the community, through activities, events, projects and connections
- helping members to bring their own visions and ideas to life.
