The voting for senior officers of the Board of Deputies closed yesterday and the successful candidates were as follows:
President: Philip Rosenberg
Senior Vice President: Adrian Cohen
Vice Presidents: Andrew Gilbert, Jeremy Michaelson
The new President is a reforming spirit with a big agenda consisting of 43 pledges. Despite his comparative youth he has a 15 year history as a deputy and has a strong commitment towards the empowerment of regional deputies.
Andrew Gilbert (supported by the Sinai Trustees) is to be congratulated on achieving Vice Presidential office, and will serve as a de facto spokesman for the progressive movements.
