A special tribute event is being organised commemorating the first Yahrzeit of the late Dayan Refson of blessed memory, Dayan of the Leeds Beth Din and Leeds Jewish Community.
This will take place on Thursday evening 11th March over Zoom from 8:00pm – 9:15pm.
Dr Jonathan Straight will host an impressive array of speakers, including Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis and Dayan Menachem Gelley, head of the London Beth Din.
The evening will include a short video of the life of Dayan Refson, and the completion of a Sefer Torah written in his memory.
