In response to the Adopt a Hostage initiative, Sinai’s Trustees have voted to adopt Tal Shoham.

Tal, 38, was taken hostage on October 7 from Kibbutz Be’eri, along with his wife, Adi, his daughter, Yahel, 3, son, Naveh, 8, his mother-in-law Shoshan Haran, his wife’s aunt Sharon Avigdori and her daughter Noam, 12. Thankfully, the rest of Tal’s family was released on November 25th. As you will know from the Chanukah edition of the Sinai Chronicle, Tal and his family are relatives of Sinai member Pazit Ziv.

A seat has been reserved for Tal in the sanctuary.

The BoD asks that you remember Tal in your prayers (his Hebrew name is Tal Ben Nitza), as an individual, as well as his being part of the collective group of hostages. Each hostage is an individual and no hostage should be forgotten. Letters/emails of support and solidarity could be sent to the family via Sara Radivan, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
