Sinai offers several ways to introduce your children or grandchildren to synagogue services.
Under 5's (accompanied by an adult)
Sinai has monthly Torah Time. This is an informal service which closely follows the rhythm and patterns of the main service but is presented to make it accessible and meaningful for young children. A mini Kiddush is included and then the children are taken to the main service to join the procession of the Torah scroll back to the Ark and to receive a blessing from the Rabbi.
Children in our Religion School
Towards the end of the morning at Religion School (held on Shabbat) the children join the main service in the sanctuary for the return of the scroll to the Ark and for a blessing from the Rabbi. They then return to Religion School for their own brief Shacharit (morning) service.
